Cabinet Pulls
A cabinet pull or cabinet handle is installed onto the front of a door or drawer with two or more drilled holes and screws. Our brass decorative handles come in a variety of styles and finishes ranging from satin brass to polished nickel.
Tip: While knobs and pulls are often interchangeable, we recommend using pulls on heavier or larger drawers so you get a better grip.

What Size Cabinet Pulls Do I Need?
Cabinet and furniture doors and drawers come in different heights and lengths. The “standard” pull size can vary for each space and piece of furniture. An industry rule of thumb to follow is to use a pull length that is approximately ⅓ of the cabinet door length or drawer width. For a trendier look, you can use a longer length like a 10 inch or 12 inch pull. Make sure you measure the pull's center to center length and not the overall length. If you have more questions on sizing or positioning of your pulls please refer to our guide.
Luxury Finishes to Choose From
Our designer cabinet hardware comes in a variety of finishes to meet all your decor needs. These finished include Satin Brass, Satin Nickel, Polished Nickel, Polished Chrome, Matte Black, Weathered Nickel, Venetian Bronze, and more. We even offer a few two-tone finish combinations as well. While you can mix and match finishes, we suggest not using more than two different finish families across your cabinet hardware, lighting, and plumbing fixtures in a room to keep a cohesive look throughout your space. Our products are often paired with luxury kitchen cabinets to create a high-end aesthetic.
Questions & Answers
Nothing! The terms "cabinet pull" and "cabinet handle" can be used interchangeably to describe the same item of hardware. Our cabinet door handles are used across many projects in various parts of the home by architects and designers alike.
For Smaller Cabinet Doors (less than 24 inches): For doors or drawers under 24 inches in height or width, opt for cabinet pulls ranging from 3 to 7 inches long (center to center size or overall length) for the most comfortable fit.
For Medium Cabinet Doors (between 24-36 inches): If your cabinet doors or drawers measure between 24 and 36 inches, consider pulls between 7 and 12 inches (center to center size or overall length) for optimal aesthetic appeal.
For Larger Cabinet Doors (exceeding 36 inches): For pantries, built-in appliances, or oversized doors and drawers, select pulls longer than 12 inches (center to center size or overall length) to complement their larger scale.
While there is no right answer, they are typically placed horizontally on drawers and vertically on cabinet doors. It also can depend on the hardware design and if there’s a preferred orientation. Feel free to break from this design principle and get creative if it better suits your aesthetic.
We use solid brass to make all our products at Hapny. This ensures all of our products are of the highest quality. Some companies produce their hardware with Steel or Zinc for cost reasons, which leads to a less durable, cheaper product. This is why our products are frequently used as a luxury option for clients in baths, kitchens, and more.
